Cool, I know a person who recently became a MAT staff! TDogg, great guy. Unfortunately the MOHAA SH clan I'm currently in didn't have enough time to gather players or staff to attend the last one. Can individual players participate? Not sure yet if I'd be able to make it though, as I'm waiting to see if a potential job comes through, and if so what the schedule will be.

Thanks for the reminder. I've been busy lately, so I need to practice soon as I haven't played in awhile. I don't have xfire but you can pm me, and I'll give you my email. Or if it's no hassle, basicly let me know here the basic requirements? Otherwise I'll check the mohaathon website a.s.a.p. I play spearhead primarily, as I'm not used to allied assault but understand it has less options.

It's time once again for the MOHAA-ATHON Tournament!!!!!!!

The tournament will be held Nov 7 - Nov 9. It will be OBJ on Custom Maps. The primary map will be OBJ_TEAMZERO, this map is a remake of the stock map THE HUNT where the buildings are all restored to their original glory with the additions of tunnels and of course.....the bombs. There's a rocket and another bomb nearby and both objectives are for the same team ,so you have a choice which to go after.

The Tiebreaker Map will be a single 12 minute round on TOY SOLDIERS and it will be TDM. This map shrinks egos a bit in that while it is definitely a smaller map that lends itself to the style of 'run 'n gunner' type players but, it is big enough to camp for a couple kills at a time. A multi-faceted strategic approach is the key on this one.

I'm proud to announce that my team won the North American portion of the
tournament. I represented the current clan I'm still with as <=TOC=>Drew-NY.

Team mates were =167=GoAF.Mapmstr-|*HQ*|-, -AtF- Alpine, TRC_Cpt. Slim_Jim,
and TRC(GOA)PizzaMike. Our first match went to a tie breaker, in which we took vents,
and picked off the opposing team until we were sure we had a significant lead. Then we
rushed them. The second match we just played conservative on defense, and on offense
we sent in a scout which distracted them, and the rest of us took them out. Our final match
was intense. It went back, and forth between the teams out strategizing each other. In the tie breaker we quickly took the vents again, though they kept the lead to the very end, rushing
our team mates as they respawned. However we rallied our group, reduced our deaths, took
kills conservtively as we counted down their lead, then rushed them as we did other's the first round. I still can hear Mapmstr's War Cry ! We also formed a human Totem Pole in celebration !

In addition to bragging rights, the 5 of us, as well as the EU winners have received a choice of
a game from EA games! One player from each wining team will be selected as the teams MVP.
