Theming
I thought I'd take a quick moment and explain a bit about how "themes" work.

There's two levels of expertise available for theming. Average-joe user's with no HTML and CSS experience can click "Choose a theme" while editing their profile and apply one of the pre-generated themes. This is also a great way to get a starting point for your own custom theme.

Those with a bit of HTML and CSS experience will want to look at the last couple of boxes you can edit in your profile. One is the layout, the other is the CSS style for it.

There's a few special variables you can use in your layout that determine where things are placed, like your list of friends, etc. When I get a bit of time (yeah right) I'll write a more complete tutorial that covers what all of those are, but each one that is currently available is used in all of the default themes, so you should be able to figure it out.

In the CSS box you can apply your own styles to the HTML. I have no documentation yet on what is available, partly because it's still a bit in flux. Soon I'll document all the available classes that you can apply styles to. I want it to be as easy as possible for you to theme your pages.

If you want to use your own images in your theme layout, currently you'll need to host them somewhere else like one of the many free image hosting services. We're working on an interface to let you upload your own images to our servers, but it's still a few months out.

I hope that gives you enough of a pointer to get started in the right direction. Feel free to open up a discussion about themes, and brag about any themes you've created.
