I was away from the keyboard for a while and when I came back I clicked on the member functions page on my clan profile. The "popup" went to the gamerzcrib.com homepage.

The timeout doesn't necessarily require a re-login, but a refresh of the page. It's to prevent cross-site-scripting. There's a random key embedded in every link that would affect things somehow (like editing a profile) to make sure that another site can't try to force your browser to do things with your GamerzCrib account.

Those keys are only valid for about 5 minutes. Refreshing the page generates new keys. Failing the key check will either refresh the page if the server can figure out where you were, or send you to the front page.
